19th of July 2012 Panorama trail Hochgrat

Today we drive by car to Steibis, which is about 20km away from the Tobelmill. Here is the station at the buttom of the lift Hochgratbahn. We reach it after a 30 minutes ride. With the lift we go up to the top station (altitude 1700m). While my sister and her husband prefer to stay nearby the top station's restaurant, my wife and I walk the panorama trial Hochgrat, which leads to an altitude of 1800m and should be done within 1,5 hours.

The trail is well signposted, but city-livers as my wife find it irritating, that the paths are used not only by men but also by cows, who do not always let the wanderers simply pass, but often likes to lick their sweat. In the midst of the trail we notice that the weather becomes strange and is about to rain. So we hurry up and we are lucky to reach the lift station before frog and rain gets really unpleasant.
