Mèze
When we reach Frontignan on Friday afternoon the harbour master tells us it would rain the next two days and we should stay till Monday. But the harbour of Frontignan has neither toilets but showers and Frontignan itself is - besides of the lift bridge - not too interesting.
So we decide to leave Saturdaymorning at 7.30h. It does not rain, but we have more wind that pushes the boad to the pier. But I can turn the boat with the sturn to the canal and move backwards from the pier.
Shipping on the canal we don't notice the wind becoming stronger, but in the distance we see dark clouds above Sète. When we leave the canal, we see little waves on the Etang de Thau, but no white crest. In case of white crest we were told not to cross the Etang. But the waves become bigger and so we decide to stop at Meze.
A good decision, then the winds turn out to be a storm. Nevertheless the people of Mèze do a joutes-competition in the harbour the whole afternoon till it's getting dark. We didn't plan the stop in Mèze, but we enjoyed the competition.
