The term "surroundings" here has many different meanings. We often walk with our dogs and I use to take my camera with me. This walks mostly are near by our home, that means the area around Wildenrath, Arsbeck, Dalheim, Wassenberg and event the frontier to the netherlands.

However wealso walk in the region of Aix la Chapelle (Aachen), in the near Eifel or anywhere else around Heinsberg. That all is included in the word "surroundings".

If there are special events near by as the horticultural show "Floriade" in Venlo in the year 2012, that's also "surroundings".
